A bespoke app is designed and built for one business, around the way that business works, rather than an off-the-shelf product that everyone shares. Your app carries your name and branding, includes only the features you need, and has artificial intelligence (AI) built in to take care of routine paperwork.
Is Appright only for trades?
No. We work with sole traders and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of all kinds, including construction, facilities management, hospitality and events, trade and field-service firms. That means anyone from sole traders up to businesses of around 50 staff, and larger businesses are welcome too.
Where are you based?
We are based in Stoke-on-Trent and South Cheshire, and we work with businesses across the whole of the UK. If you are nearby, for example elsewhere in Staffordshire or around Crewe and Nantwich, we are close at hand. Wherever you are, most of the work can be done by video call and email.
Where do you use AI?
In every part of the apps we build. Artificial intelligence (AI) can fill in job sheets from your notes and photos, read receipts, draft quotes and invoices, turn site notes into reports, spot missing timesheets, suggest schedules and draft your marketing. Which features you have depends on your business, and a person always checks the results and has the final say.

How much does a bespoke app cost?

It depends on what you need. We agree the features with you first, then set out the timings in your quote.
Do I need any technical knowledge?
No. We handle the design, building and setting up. You tell us how your business works in plain terms, and the app is designed to be simple for your team to use on their phones.
Can it work with my accounting software?
We build invoicing where AI drafts invoices from approved work, ready for you to check. We can also look at connecting to accounting software such as FreeAgent or Xero. Whether a connection is possible depends on the software, and we will confirm it in your quote.
How does AI reduce paperwork?
Instead of writing everything up, your team takes photos and quick notes, and artificial intelligence (AI) turns them into completed job sheets, expense records, reports and draft quotes and invoices. Do you offer maintenance and support?
Yes. We maintain and support everything we build, including updates, security fixes, daily backups and help when you need it. Problems and ideas can be reported straight from the app. The level of support is set out in your quote.
Who owns the app?
Appright owns the app software and the product behind it, and we host, maintain and keep improving it for you. You own your data, and your business name and logo stay yours. If you leave, you can ask for an export of your data. The details are set out in your agreement with us.
Who owns my data?
You do. Your business owns its data. Under data protection law your business is the controller, and we only process the data on your instructions. If you leave, you can ask for an export, and the data is deleted after the agreed retention period. See our privacy policy.
